Rules of conduct

We strive to keep this site an open, inclusive and harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity and orientation.

Communities
Please aim to practice the following community guidelines:

  • Be respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Do not promote violence, extremist views or any type of hatespeech.
  • Do not harass other communities and community members

Individuals
Individuals are expected to follow similar rules of conduct and may receive site-wide bans when engaging in unacceptable behaviour.
Examples of unacceptable behaviour:

  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Making any type of unwanted (sexual) advances
  • Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission
  • Attempting to abuse the site in ways that are not intended
  • Evading site or room bans by changing account or IP addresses
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Enforcement
Room owners and moderators are expected to adhere to and enforce these rules within reason by banning individuals that engage in unacceptable behaviour.
When room bans are ineffective, or when a community as a whole is acting against these rules of conduct a site admin may step in to ban individuals or the community as a whole.
